oooh Zhon, i have seen your work before, very talented you are!
thank you so much for commenting
Yeah, same here, i often give up when im reminded i'll have to do the feet eventually... carpals, ugh! But im mostly a fan of skulls and spines, strung on a cord like this they're nice and flexible, hangs nicely on a nail too!
(It's a very small world on DA ) I'd love to see more of your bone work! Your photography of them is creepily awesome!
Yeah... I always get confused when assembling the carpal bones... or any toes for that matter.... I gotta say the most horrible spine I've ever assembled was that of a 13 foot burmese python... I stopped after that... screw the 8-million ribs.... Lol!
wow.. that's a real cat skeleton? amazing...! The skull looks too big to the other parts.. (well, I guess that it's because it's the first time I see the insides of a cat.. [= )
I have to say, that's a one of a kind hobby, never heard of someone doing it before... [=
Thanks! yeah their skulls look almost like an alien face! but i think what makes it look out of proportion is because it's missing the legs and ribs, etc.
It's a fun hobby, i find it relaxing, and it makes me feel like some kind of archeologist or something, hehe
This is something I'd most probably do (since I give up on whole skeletal assemblies way too often....)
Awesome pic!
